  I met with some friends for lunch. We enjoyed getting seated right away in the bar area. Our waiter was pleasant and quick also a little flirty and the girl's loved it! I've been 4 more times since that visit and have never had a bad experience. Good food, good cocktails and all in a timely matter. The jalapeño poppers with mango sauce are wonderful.

  My husband & I ate here to celebrate Valentine's Day and our wedding anniversary. Although the place was packed everything was very good. We ordered from the Prix Fixe menu just to keep it simple and we were not disappointed. The beef was cooked to my husband's request and both the soup and salad were fresh and tasty.

  Today was our first time at BJ's Brewhouse and I'm sad to say I was very disappointed in the cleanliness, service and the food. It was around 4:00 when we got there and they weren't very busy. The hostess pretty much forced us to eat in the bar- By telling us 4 different times about that bar. We sat ourselves in the bar where there may have been 4 other tables in use at the time. We sat there for about 10 minutes before someone came to the table to drop off menus - Didn't ask us if we wanted anything to drink. Once we figured out what we wanted, and waited another 5-10 minutes for waitress to come back to the table. We put in our orders of California Chicken clubs had water to drink. While the waitress left to put in order we looked around and the bar floor was a mess. It had both food and silverware under tables and floor. It didn't look like it had been cleaned all day. Once we received the food, my sandwich had burnt bread and either the burnt taste of my sandwich caused my fries to taste burnt too or they were over cooked as well and major grease pockets. My partners bread was like it was deep fried then thrown on a grill (major greasy), the chicken was over cooked. However; the Avocado was nice and fresh. We ate our meal without any communication with the waitress - nor did our drinks get refilled. We eat out often and haven't had this bad of an experience in a very long time as a mater of fact I have never had an experience bad enough to have me right a review. We spent almost $25.00 to have lousy service and gross food. This may have been a one off, but I know that I can't afford to take another chance on this place in fear it may have not been a one off.
